  • Ground beef
    1.5 lbs, 80/20 lean
  • Chili powder
    2 tbsp
  • Cumin
    1 tsp
  • Garlic powder
    1 tsp
  • Onion powder
    1 tsp
  • Oregano
    1/2 tsp dried
  • Tomato sauce
    1/2 cup
  • Lettuce
    2 cups shredded
  • Cheddar cheese
    2 cups shredded

Instructions

1. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat
2. Add ground beef and cook, breaking up with spoon, until browned, about 5-7 minutes
3. Drain excess fat from pan

5. Stir in tomato sauce and simmer for 5 minutes until thickened
6. Warm taco shells according to package directions
7. Fill shells with beef mixture
8. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and any desired toppings
9. Serve with lime wedges
